During our camping trip (previous post) I got some cute macro pics of Gizmo while he was sleeping. This one (his smushieface) is currently the background on my phone. So cute.

We spent the last week camping with Gizmo. It was his first camping trip, and although a week seems long for a first time, we were within 2hrs driving distance to home in the event of any problems. He loved it. He lounged on the lounge chairs most of the time, went on short walks around the campsite, played with some of the other camping dogs, and as a treat, we let him sleep with us in the tent. At home he sleeps in a crate, and although we brought the crate with us, it was only to be used as a last resort. (Now that we’re back home, he’s back to sleeping in his crate).

My first sketch of Gizmo… which came out surprisingly well considering I haven’t done any sketches in a few months, especially not after acquiring this new, tiny, time-consuming part of my life. He’s asleep on the couch, draped over pack-leader-2’s leg.
