What is this holiday you speak of? You say I get toys. Can I have toys now?

During our camping trip (previous post) I got some cute macro pics of Gizmo while he was sleeping. This one (his smushieface) is currently the background on my phone. So cute.

This is possibly the cutest Gizmo post in a while! While we were on our walk yesterday evening, we ran into a 3.5 month old lab/pinscher mix and I couldn’t resist… puppy playtime!!! They tumbled, played, licked, chased (as much as possible on a leash) for about 10-15 minutes. Then they both got treats and it was time to go. I couldn’t pull him away, but then a minute later he realized he was exhausted and lay down. I had to carry him the remaining block home. He absolutely refused to walk. In any case, too cute!!!

We went for a short walk during lunch, and since today is much warmer than it has been for the past few days, as soon as we got back to our cool shady front lawn, someone decided to lie down and play dead.

“It’s raining, it’s pouring, the puppy is snoring…”

This has been a rather boring week in the dog-world due to the incessant rain. We have gotten a few walks in between the downpours, otherwise he’s entertained with non-stop squeaking of his tennis ball (oh he’s so proud he can squeak the ball… it’s cute!) and indoor games of fetch.

Napping on a sunny patch of grass is a great way to spend a nice, Saturday afternoon.

Yesterday, Gizmo’s right ear popped up, and seeing as it’s still up this morning, I think it’s here to stay. So stinkin’ cute! Though I guess he won’t have floppy little ears forever?

Gizmo, at 15 weeks, finally starts making a happy face!

Either that, or he’s going mad. Hard to tell.
